Indigenous Book Club Month: Remembering the Battle of Little Bighorn
Canada is declaring June "Indigenous Book Club Month".
Word Carrier Trading Post is joining in and declaring Indigenous Book Club Month in South Dakota! We have several titles we are recommending you read. We decided as a family that it is important to remember those that fought in the Battle of Little Bighorn and the victory that we own as a people. Suggested titles are discounted 15% during the month of June. The Battle of Little Bighorn is celebrated on June 25, 1876 "Lakota Victory Day" this is a good time to share our history with those that don't know the true story. Educate our children by reading a book with them!
